Salary:$42,500.00 - $45,000.00

Nature & Scope
**Join Our Team!**We are seeking a detailed oriented Account administrator to join the YMCA BC Child Care team in the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the Supervisor, Administration the Account Administrator will provide dynamic and complex administrative support for YMCA BC licensed YMCA child care and licensed day camp programs. The work environment is very fast-paced, with a high volume of program participants.
Major Responsibilities**-in this position, you will:**
- Responsible for the successful collection of monthly child care fees and provide account support for over 3500 child care participants across YMCA BC
- Process new registrations and new payment set up
- Responsible for completing account adjustments, program withdrawals, program changes, split billing, refunds, invoicing, reconciliation and other administrative tasks as required
- Ensure family and 3rd party accounts are in good standing and provide direct customer support
- Assist and provide support for child care subsidy inquiries, including the Affordable Child Care benefit, YMCA Financial Assistance and other 3rd party agreements
- Collect bad debt
- Data entry including annual child care re-registration across YMCA BC child care network
- Occasional front desk coverage; welcome visitors, answer or refer inquiries as needed
- Be an engaged and integral part of a cohesive administrative team, working to achieve the mission of YMCA BC
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, key stakeholders including community agencies and other groups
- Support registration for Licensed YMCA Child Care & Kids Club programs, YMCA Sports Leagues, YMCA Day Camp and YMCA Camp Elphinstone as needed
- Support technology and system transformation projects
- Additional administrative projects and duties as assigned
- Provide ratio support in YMCA Kids Club programs as needed
Qualification**-you bring:**
- A minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced office environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to type 60 w.p.m
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and multi-task in high demand environment
- Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisions; effective prioritizing and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient – Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Office365
- High degree of independence and initiative within a team environment
- Experience and sensitivity in dealing with members of different cultural and racial backgrounds, including visible and invisible dimensions of diversity
- Math skills and accounting experience
- First Aid/CPR-C certificate required
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date
- Additional languages a strong asset
