Position Summary
As an Information Desk Officer, you will serve as the welcoming face of the centre, delivering exceptional customer service to ensure every guest has a positive and memorable experience. You will play a key role in promoting centre services and acting as a knowledgeable resource for visitors and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests at the Information Desk with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating guest needs and creating positive, lasting impressions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of centre services, retailers, merchandise, and upcoming events by reviewing Client's website daily.
- Proactively promote retailer offerings and centre-wide promotions to enhance the customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with tenants and retail partners.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
- Collaborate with other departments to support internal client needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the centre for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues, and report concerns to Control in a timely manner.
- Oversee centre cameras throughout the day.
- Track retailer opening and closing times and submit updates via Excel spreadsheets.
- Utilize the security radio as required.
- Provide team briefings in the morning and afternoon, highlighting key updates or important information.
- Complete and submit a daily report (template provided by Marketing) for next-day collection.
- Submit completed customer service complaint/comment forms to the supervisor for escalation if needed.
- Assist with coordinating marketing activations involving partners, guests, and visitors.
- Refill the gift certificate kiosk as required.
