Reporting to Sr. Project Information Manager, the Project Information Manager (PIM) will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of the Common Data Environment (CDE) within Aecon’s Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform. This role ensures that all project information is managed according to the Aecon Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) Framework, supporting digital design coordination, information management, and compliance with best practices and standards.
What You’ll Do Here:

Establish and configure the ACC environment for each project, including folder structures, permissions matrix, taxonomy, and project data structure.

Implement standardized naming conventions, classification, and data coding for all project information.
-
Develop and maintain the CDE Review Matrix and Project Permissions Matrix.
-
Manage, review, and control design and construction submittals within the CDE, ensuring traceability and consistency.
-
Oversee document control, versioning, and access management in alignment with the Document Control & Security Plan for BIM/ CADD and Drawing Deliverables.
-
Ensure all project information is stored, archived, and disposed of according to Aecon protocols and industry standards.
-
Support model coordination environment for 3D information modeling, and clash detection using ACC tools.
-
Setup API Integration with other environments such as SharePoint and Aconex.
-
Track and report project issues, decisions, and actions within the CDE, ensuring digital records are maintained.
-
Oversee design development and change control, including monitoring of changes in design.
-
Implement QA/QC protocols for digital deliverables, including inspection forms, review workflows, and auto-archiving.
-
Generate and maintain CDE information for project dashboards, KPI reports, and predictive analytics for project information management.

Provide onboarding and continuous training for project teams on CDE protocols, ACC tools, and IDD standards.

Engage with consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with Aecon’s digital delivery requirements.
What You Bring to the Team:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant technical role.
-
Post secondary education in engineering or a related filed.
-
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and related digital collaboration tools.
-
Strong understanding of information management, BIM, and digital design coordination principles.
-
Familiarity with ISO 19650, and industry best practices for CDE management.
-
Outstanding computer skills (Procore, ACC/BIM360, ProjectWise).
-
Excellent organizational skills.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Experience working with various stakeholders and managing those relationships.
-
Experience in construction is considered an asset.
-
Ability to work with others as a team and independently.
Reason for Vacancy: Replacement
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
