About the role

This role is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the activities across multiple Agile squads, ensuring alignment and coordination across the entire solution. Agile Delivery Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale, complex solutions that require multiple Agile squads to collaborate effectively.

What will you do?

  • Support the Release Train Engineer (RTE) in managing program-level execution and delivery across multiple squads.
  • Coordinate Quality Engineering (QE), integration, and deployment activities, ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery.
  • Facilitate alignment of squad deliverables, managing dependencies, risks, and integration points across teams.
  • Partner with technical leads and QE teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines, release readiness, and integration testing cycles.
  • Track and report on program delivery metrics (velocity, quality, deployment success, release readiness).
  • Assist in planning and execution of Program Increment (PI) activities, including readiness, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Act as a bridge between technical squads and program leadership, escalating issues and ensuring delivery risks are mitigated.
  • Drive consistency in deployment practices and release coordination across squads.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have's:

  • Strong understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile delivery practices, and program-level coordination.
  • Experience with quality engineering (QE), system integration, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple squads and manage dependencies in large-scale programs.
  • Familiarity with release management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps) and Agile metrics tracking.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to engage technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.

Nice to Have's:

  • Background in software engineering, QA, or DevOps is an asset.
  • SAFe certification (SAFe Agilist, SAFe RTE, or equivalent) preferred but not required.
