REPORTS TO: Digital Communications Manager
LOCATION: Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join the Earth’s Own marketing team based out of our head office in Burnaby. Our Content Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing and executing content across our digital channels to build brand love, drive trial, and foster community.

Experience
- 2+ years in content marketing, digital marketing, or social media
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience managing brand social media channels: content development, scheduling, community management, and engagement
- Proven ability to develop organic and paid content across digital platforms like websites, newsletters, and social
- Experience working with influencers and coordinating outreach
- Hands-on leadership of photoshoots—including logistics, prop sourcing, shot lists, and timelines
- Familiarity with content planning and analytics tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager)
NICE TO HAVE
- French content, influencers, or agencies (language skills not required)
- CPG (consumer packaged goods) brands
- Zendesk
things you will do…
- Manage Earth’s Own social media channels, collaborating with the Communications Manager on growth and engagement strategies
- Lead the planning and execution of paid and organic content across the website, newsletter, and social media
- Own and maintain the content calendar, ensuring timelines are met and aligned with broader campaigns
- Write and edit content that brings our brand voice to life—tailored to channel, context, and audience
- Partner with internal teams and external collaborators (agencies, freelancers, influencers) to produce content that delivers
- Lead the coordination and execution of brand photoshoots—including talent, logistics, shot planning, and creative direction
- Track and report on platform performance, turning insights into actionable improvements
- Monitor content and platform trends to keep our brand competitive, relevant, and culturally resonant
- Provide vacation coverage for the consumer experience manager—including consumer response via Zendesk and social media community management
