As the Paid Digital Marketing Lead, you will partner with the Manager, Paid Digital Strategy to lead the strategic planning and execution of paid digital campaigns across Retail, Events, Community, and support eCommerce initiatives. You will work with cross functional teams to plan campaigns to support their business objectives. Your ability to think big picture but follow through with the tactical details will allow you to succeed in this position.
This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Digital Commerce team is responsible for developing eCommerce channels and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. We are a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy and operations), Digital Marketing (CRM and paid), Digital Analytics, Digital User Experience, Digital Merchandising and Digital Product Content. The Digital Commerce team works closely with many other cross-functional groups, including Brand and Marketing Operations.
If you were the Paid Digital Marketing Lead now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

- Leading the execution of paid ad strategy and execution across Retail, ReBird, Community, and eCommerce initiatives
- Monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing campaign performance within digital ad platforms
- Briefing in campaign creative and working with the creative team & stakeholders to ensure best practices are followed and campaign creative supports objectives
- Advancing reporting processes and ensuring there is a regular feedback loop to key stakeholders (Retail, ReBirds, Integrated Brand Marketing) on campaign performance
- Planning and implementing our Paid Media plan in alignment with medium term strategic business goals for each program
- Planning and executing Digital Out of Home (DOOH) media buying for regional Retail functions
- Implementing Local Inventory Ads to support our omni-channel strategy
- Incorporating offline data and Conversion API into set up and testing to optimize campaign efficiency and more accurate omni-channel reporting
- Setting up testing plans to show incremental results of full omnichannel impact of digital campaigns
- Leveraging Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Incrementality data in project planning and reporting
- Analyzing program performance insights and creating reports to various key stakeholders in Ecomm, Brand Marketing and NAM commercial teams, etc.

Are you our next Paid Digital Strategy Lead?

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
- You have 4+ years experience in paid digital advertising either in-house or at an agency
- You have experience working in a global, large-scale company
- You have a deep understanding of digital marketing tools and technologies such as Meta, Google (Ads and GMP stack), Pinterest, Reddit, and TikTok
- You have experiences working with advertising vendors and using various planning tool to draft a marketing plan
- You have worked on retail (brick and mortar) clients with a proven track record of success
- You have a strong understanding of ad formats and creative best practices
- You are skilled at visualizing data and pulling insights from campaign performance
- You have experience running advanced measurement tests (a/b tests, brand lift, geo lift, incrementality)
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $94,000 - $117,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
