The Team The Data Science and Modeling group is a collaborative, innovative team focused on solving complex analytical challenges and transforming the organization’s modeling approach. Responsibilities And Impact

  • Collaborate with experienced data scientists to develop and enhance analytical tools, models, and insights.
  • Contribute to modernizing and restructuring legacy systems into scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Assist in building rapid prototypes (proofs of concept), implementing machine learning models, and supporting user interface development.
  • Apply techniques such as time-series forecasting, machine learning, optimization, and deep learning to real-world problems.
  • Support the creation of transparent, maintainable analytical pipelines that enable new product features.
  • Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-level modeling challenges and cutting-edge AI technologies while working with global teams.

What We’re Looking For Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Students currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Foundation in mathematics (linear algebra, calculus, optimization).
  • Programming experience in Python and familiarity with data science or machine learning libraries.
  • Analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

Key Soft Skills

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks or transformer models.
  • Interest in optimization techniques (LP, MILP, nonlinear optimization).
  • Experience with rapid prototyping or developing proofs of concept.
