UB Personnel Inc. is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing manufacturing company in Vaughan, for an experienced Health & Safety Specialist. If you're passionate about workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement health & safety policies and procedures Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Deliver health & safety training (WHMIS, PPE, Fire Safety, etc.)
Ensure compliance with OHSA and other applicable regulations
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation Support HR initiatives as required
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in manufacturing Strong knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and workplace safety standards Health & Safety certification is an asset Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Pay
$22–$27/hour (based on experience)
