We are thrilled to announce that we are hiring Sessional Instructors for our Bachelor of Hospitality Management for the upcoming term (Winter 2026).

TITLE: HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTOR (Sessional)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching any of the following courses in our Bachelor of Hospitality Management Degree Program:

  • HOSP 318 - Sustainability in Hospitality: This course will provide students with an in-depth research-based examination in sustainability, social and cultural responsibility, and green practices by exploring ideas, solutions, and strategies related to sustainable, responsible, and ethical management in the hospitality industry.
  • HOSP424 - Hospitality Revenue Management: This course will give students an advanced understanding of revenue management processes for the purposes of growing a hospitality enterprise. Topics will distinguish between tactical and strategic revenue management and will explore in depth financial resourcing tools and techniques.
  • HOSP316: Healthy Aging and Hospitality Services: A shift in population demographics and an increasingly wealthy aging population is driving a change in leisure experience expectations. Lifestyle and leisure experiences are being informed by changing social stratification, psychographics, consumer behaviour, marketing segmentation and product differentiation.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Per Term
TERM: Winter 2026 - From January 2026 to April 2026 (15 weeks)

LOCATION: Surrey, BC: The candidate must be able to commute to our Surrey Central Campus (CC3).
SCHEDULE: According to the courses/per Term.
SALARY: $6,000 to $6,500 per course, per term.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR:

  • Minimum of a master's degree in the teaching subject area or related field.
  • 2 years of Industry experience and teaching the same or similar courses at another BC post-secondary institution.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Able to prepare detailed lesson plans

  • Able to use technology and online teaching techniques

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent instructional capability

  • Able to maintain professionalism

  • Strong Proficiency in English
