About the role

Do you want to thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to complex legal cases on a global scale? Join our legal team as a Paralegal – Litigation and play a role in strategic litigation matters. In this role, you will report to the Senior Litigation Paralegal in supporting litigation matters globally.

You'll Have The Opportunity To

  • Assist in managing complex litigation cases, including product liability, dealers & suppliers disputes, intellectual property matters and class actions, in jurisdictions around the world.
  • Handle and lead product quality litigation cases from inception to conclusion
  • Support litigation strategy by managing discovery, investigate claims, gathering evidence, preparing witness materials, and coordinating trial preparation.
  • Assist the labor & employment team in supporting the human resources function with all legal needs, including drafting agreements and policies.
  • Conduct legal research and draft summaries and other litigation-related documents.
  • Collaborate with in-house team and outside counsel by organizing case files, preparing documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal processes.
  • Support the in-house team with administrative and record-keeping tasks.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Diploma in Paralegal Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal (experience with the U.S. legal system is an asset).
  • Essential bilingualism in both spoken and written French and English in order to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office suite and other work-related applications, such as e-discovery tools.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, curious and able to work independently.
