The Legislation and Regulations Unit of the Policy and Program Services Branch within the Ministry of Government Relations is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and flexible team player to fill the role of Legislation and Research Officer. You will be part of the Legislation and Regulations Unit, whose work is the analysis, development, and implementation of policy and legislation for Saskatchewan’s local government sector, working to foster a strong system of city, urban, rural and northern municipal governments.

This position will oversee, co-ordinate and advise others on the ministry’s internal decision-making and document approval processes and Cabinet approval processes, including DocShare, and the documentation and packaging required related to the range of Cabinet decision items – regulations, legislation, Orders in Council, ministerial orders, decision items, memos and information items.
