About the role

Job Description Compensation Manager – Commercial (contract 6 months with possibilities)

  • Fixed Term Contract (no bonus or benefits included)*****

Reporting to the Director of North America and WHQ Compensation, the Compensation Manger will play a critical role in executing the compensation strategy and philosophy across the North America Commercial Businesses. As a trusted advisor to our HR Business Partners, you'll provide proficient guidance on a range of compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, market benchmarking, and job offers. To excel in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.

Compensation Manager At a Glance...

  • Conduct and oversee job evaluations for broad-based positions to ensure internal parity
  • Support the annual salary planning cycle
  • Participate in the annual salary survey submission process
  • Develop and maintain salary structures for multiple countries
  • Create and deliver compensation-related training materials to educate HR, people managers, and employees on compensation related best practices
  • Design and maintain internal compensation tools to support HR and people in making informed compensation decisions
  • Support internal and external audits of compensation-related matters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date on external market trends, developments, and standard methodologies in direct compensation to inform compensation strategies
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team to drive excellence in compensation management

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ compensation experience
  • Workday experience preferred and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
  • Intermediate to advanced excel and data analysis skills, support team in building visualizations and summaries in Tableau/Power BI and ad-hoc analytics in Power Point
  • Strong technical knowledge of compensation theories and principles, compensation program design, and applicable laws
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solutions-oriented mindset, practicing continuous improvement to drive excellence in compensation management
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or other HR certification preferred
  • Korn Ferry Hay Job Slotting experience strongly preferred

New Hire Base Salary Range $100,300.00 - $125,400.00

Bonus This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
