Description: Industrial Education Teacher (Woodwork) - Grades 7-10
Location : Jaffray Elementary/Junior Secondary School, Jaffray, BC
Contract Type : Part-time Continuing (0.571 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $40,193 to $68,055, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
Job Summary:
Industrial Education Teacher (Woodwork) - Grades 7-10
0.571 FTE continuing contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Secondary level. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Woodwork. Must have a Red Seal in an applicable area, or a Diploma in the Technology Teacher Education Program, or the equivalent.
This position is tentatively scheduled to include Woodwork 7-10. The schedule for this position is still to be determined. Please note that all work will be on site.
