Position Summary

Summary
SolidCAD is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the execution engine behind our national marketing programs across AECO, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Government industries.
This role is responsible for turning marketing strategy into consistent, high-quality execution across campaigns, digital platforms, content, events, and partner marketing initiatives.
You will lead a team of specialists, manage vendor marketing requirements, and ensure campaigns, communications, SEO, website updates, and field marketing activities run with precision, accountability, and alignment to sales.
You report to the Director of Marketing and act as the operational bridge between marketing strategy, sales needs, vendors, and day-to-day execution. While strategic direction and priorities are set in partnership with the Director of Marketing, this role operates with a high degree of autonomy in how execution is planned, managed, and delivered.

Work Model: Remote, with travel and in-office presence as required for some campaign initiative

In this role, you will...

What You Will Own
Team Leadership & Execution Management

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 specialists:

o SEO & Digital Specialist
o Field Marketing Specialist
o Content/SEO Specialist

  • Translate marketing strategy into weekly execution plans

  • Ensure assets, blogs, emails, landing pages, ads, and events are delivered on time

  • Establish accountability, workflows, and timelines across the team

Campaign & Communications Execution

  • Oversee execution of multi-channel campaigns (email, SEO, paid, social, events, webinars, landing pages)
  • Manage internal marketing communications to sales and leadership on campaigns, assets, and results
  • Coordinate quarterly campaign alignment sessions with sales teams
  • Ensure messaging aligns with SolidCAD and Symetri brand evolution
  • Ensure sales enablement assets are clearly packaged, accessible, and easy to use
  • Drive internal awareness and adoption of campaigns through clear communication and follow-up
  • Act as the primary marketing point of contact for sales questions related to active campaigns

Digital Campaign & Website Oversight

  • Oversee the setup and execution of digital campaigns including landing pages, emails, paid ads, and tracking
  • Ensure campaigns are properly built and launched inside HubSpot
  • Oversee website updates, landing page creation, and content publishing in WordPress
  • Maintain website accuracy, performance, and alignment with active campaigns
  • Ensure forms, tracking, and conversion paths are correctly configured
  • Coordinate with SEO & Digital Specialist on blog publishing and optimization

Content & Asset Management

  • Maintain organized access to marketing assets, templates, and campaign materials
  • Ensure content remains current, on-brand, and aligned with active campaigns
  • Retire outdated or duplicate assets to maintain clarity and consistency
  • Support internal teams in locating and using approved marketing materials

Vendor & Partner Marketing Management

  • Manage marketing requirements and MDF/co-marketing programs from vendors such as Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Symetri

  • Coordinate partner campaigns and ensure SolidCAD meets vendor obligations

  • Track vendor deliverables, reporting requirements, and alignment to campaigns

  • Support budget tracking and spend pacing across campaigns, events, and partner programs

  • Ensure vendor and MDF investments align with approved priorities and reporting requirements

Marketing Operations & Systems Awareness

  • Work daily within HubSpot, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo
  • Ensure campaigns, lists, workflows, and reporting are properly structured
  • Understand how marketing campaigns connect to Salesforce visibility for sales
  • Support list building and targeting using ZoomInfo for campaigns and BDR outreach
  • Track campaign performance and report meaningful results tied to pipeline

Performance & Reporting Accountability

  • Own campaign performance reporting across MQLs, SQLs, pipeline influence, and conversion metrics
  • Ensure accurate campaign attribution and data hygiene across HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Provide regular performance updates to marketing and sales leadership
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend execution-level optimizations to improve results
  • Ensure marketing activity clearly supports revenue and growth objectives

Field Marketing & Events Oversight

  • Oversee planning and execution of regional events, executive events, tradeshows, and webinars

  • Ensure events tie directly into campaign strategy and follow-up plans

  • The marketing team runs on clear timelines and accountability
  • Campaigns launch smoothly without last-minute scrambling
  • Vendor requirements are proactively managed
  • Sales clearly understands what marketing is running and how to use the assets
  • Website, campaigns, and SEO work together as one system
  • The Director of Marketing is focused on strategy, not chasing execution

About you...

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in a marketing management, campaign management, or marketing operations role

  • Experience managing marketing specialists or coordinators

  • Experience coordinating multi-channel campaigns across digital, content, and events

  • Experience working with external vendors and partner marketing programs

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Marketing Operations & Productivity Tools

  • Project management tools (Monday.com or equivalent)
  • Digital asset management or shared repositories (Bynder, SharePoint, or equivalent)
  • Collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, or equivalent)

  • Experience in SaaS, technology consulting, or reseller channel marketing

  • Familiarity with Autodesk, Bluebeam, or similar technology ecosystems

  • Experience managing MDF/co-op marketing funds

  • Experience working closely with sales teams, BDRs, or SDR alignment

  • Experience supporting bilingual (EN/FR) marketing initiatives or regional market nuances in Canada

  • Familiarity with sales intelligence tool, gong.io
