Job Description
We’re on a mission to redefine financial services through innovation and we’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who’s ready to grow with us. The role will focus on our asset management (Purpose Investments) and wealth (Purpose Advisor Solutions) divisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to improving how we operate by implementing the best tools and solutions.
Responsibilities: What you will do
- Deliver Insightful Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS, ensuring accuracy and clarity that empowers decision-making.
- Elevate Financial Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and scale financial processes, embracing cutting-edge tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and transparency to embed finance across our business operations.
- Support Regulatory Excellence: Ensure timely and accurate submissions to securities regulators and stakeholders, building on our reputation for integrity and compliance.
- Drive Strategic Impact: Provide actionable financial analysis that informs business strategy, supports growth initiatives, and strengthens our competitive edge.
- Partner Across the Business: Work closely with leaders to understand evolving needs, solve complex challenges, and deliver financial clarity that drives results.
Qualifications: What you will bring
- CPA designation and a strong academic foundation in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of progressive experience, ideally in asset management, investment funds, or wealth management, with a keen interest in financial innovation in Canada.
- A passion for process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and scalable solutions.
- Experience with modern financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, NetSuite) and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across teams.
- A growth mindset, high integrity, and a drive to make a meaningful impact.
