About the role

The Position:

The Graduate Enrolment Advisor (GEA) represents Redeemer University to prospective and current graduate level students, adult learners, aligned institutions, organizations and denominations along with other appropriate audiences. They develop and deliver programming for graduate students to support academic and personal success. The GEA is responsible to manage their portfolio that spans North America to meet their enrolment targets each year.

-This is a 100%FTE new role @ 37.5 hr / week -This role is in the Administrative III Job Class

Responsibilities:

Prospect Cultivation & Recruitment (35%)

  • Represent the university at denominational, program-specific, and post-secondary conferences, fairs, and recruitment events across North America.
  • Build relationships with Christian organizations, denominational partners, and universities to identify and engage prospective students.
  • Promote university programs and increase awareness of the institution’s academic mission and values.
  • Coordinate recruitment travel logistics within budget guidelines.
  • Prepare recruitment presentations and messaging.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of assigned program portfolios and working knowledge of other university programs.

Recruitment Documentation & Follow-Up

  • Respond to prospective student inquiries while traveling and ensure timely communication.

  • Conduct personalized follow-ups with prospective students.

  • Record recruitment activities, leads, and event outcomes in the CRM system.

Application Funnel Management (30%)

  • Manage prospective students through the full enrollment funnel—from inquiry to matriculation—using the CRM system.

  • Coordinate application materials, conduct preliminary transcript reviews, and provide admissions recommendations.

  • Evaluate academic and language eligibility according to institutional policies.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with applicants and provide guidance on applications, financial aid, and enrollment processes.

  • Identify and address barriers affecting graduate, adult, and professional applicants.

  • Provide regular reports on funnel progress and recruitment outcomes.

  • Support recruitment initiatives, including on-campus events and new program launches.

Strategic Projects & Process Improvement (20%)

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and strategies.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative recruitment initiatives and enhance prospective student engagement.

  • Conduct research and environmental scans on graduate enrollment trends, academic skills development, and post-secondary best practices.

  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and conferences.

Graduate Student Academic & Learning Support (15%)

  • Serve as a primary contact for graduate students regarding academic policies, schedules, accommodation processes and administrative processes.

  • Provide academic and learning support through consultations, workshops, and skill-development sessions.

  • Review accommodation documentation and coordinate academic accommodations with learning services teams.

  • Develop and deliver programming related to academic skills, study strategies, writing support, and work-life balance.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication, marketing, and public speaking skills, Strong understanding of the University’s mission and the ability to clearly articulate the distinctiveness of the Reformed faith.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that support student recruitment, engagement, and academic success.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across faculties, departments, and with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to make independent decisions while also building consensus within teams.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills,

  • Familiarity with secondary and post-secondary education systems and student recruitment environments.

  • Proficiency with modern communication and productivity tools, including email, CRM systems, and Google Workspace.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and responsibly manage student records.

  • Proven commitment to high-quality customer and student service.

Other Requirements:

  • Understanding of Redeemer University (mission, values, and Reformed Christian identity)

  • A valid driver’s license and an availability to travel on University business, (approximately 6 - 8 weeks per year). Possession of one’s own vehicle preferred.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master’s degree (in an Education, Higher Education, Business, or relevant field) - A Master of Education is considered an asset

  • Minimum of three years of experience within post-secondary education or related field is preferred

Position Reports to: Director, Admissions

**Anticipated Start Date:**May 2026

Salary Range -$54,733 - $77,676
