Position Overview:
The Security Guard is responsible for the overall protection of all property and client assets at the assigned facility. The Security Guard is expected to represent Paladin Security Group as well as the facility they are assigned to.

**Hours:**Saturday
Pay Rate:$18.54/hr

Job Description:
- Provide courteous, cooperative, and high-quality customer service to all visitors and staff.
- Promote positive interactions and contribute to a respectful, inclusive park environment.
- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the campground, waterfront, facilities, and common areas.
- Monitor parking lots to ensure safe traffic flow and assist visitors when necessary.
- Identify and report safety hazards, policy breaches, and facility-related concerns.
- Uphold and enforce site by-laws; proactively discourage disruptive or nuisance behaviour.
- Respond timely and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and unusual circumstances.
- Utilize effective communication and de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts.
- Provide first aid and medical assistance when required.
- Write clear, concise, and legible reports, including incident reports and patrol logs.
- Communicate concerns, safety issues, or operational challenges to the Client Service Manager in a timely manner.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to sit/stand and walk/climb for extended periods of time
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a security role is required
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License & Standard First AID CPR C
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Customer Service Experience is considered an asset
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability.
