Role Overview
SALUS is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role is critical in ensuring the organization’s financial health, compliance, and accuracy across all accounting functions. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to manage processes effectively.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily accounting activities in alignment with organizational policies and procedures
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and asset accounting
- Direct financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting processes
- Ensure all financial operations comply with applicable regulations, laws, and accounting standards
- Review financial reports and statements for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of year-end financial statements
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent designation preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
