About the role

The incumbent works in close collaboration with account managers to perform operational and sales support tasks and help offer and deliver services to the business centre's members and clients. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Perform sales support activities with the aim of finalizing and supporting the delivery of financing services. This includes entering financial data, preparing contractual and legal documents, completing financing offers (e.g., contracts, guarantee forms) and preparing documents to be sent to notaries. Consult and submit registrations to the register of personal and movable real rights on request or upon issue of loan discharges and loan disbursements. Obtain the necessary documents for disbursement and incorporate the data necessary to activate the agreed-upon conditions.
  • Support account managers in the operational tasks and various follow-ups resulting from the sale of complementary products and services, particularly by preparing loan files for analysis, obtaining required documents from members and clients and performing profitability analyses.
  • Guide and assist members and clients in using Desjardins products and services.
  • Open member and client accounts (e.g., documentation, verification, authorized transit).
  • Identify sales opportunities with members and clients and make referrals to the account managers.
  • Participate as needed in certain business development activities with companies, partners and caisses.
  • Ensure files are complete and in compliance with all applicable deadlines and standards for quality.
  • Respect all policies, practices and standards in effect for conducting transactions and operations securely.

What you bring to the table

  • Attestation of Collegial Studies
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to compile financial statements
  • Knowledge of loan and guarantee contracts
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses and those offered by caisses, components and Desjardins distribution networks and those of the competition
  • Ability to enter financial data in the systems
  • Understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of operational procedures related to financing and sales support activities
  • Knowledge of the Desjardins business processes
  • Knowledge of service standards
