Mississauga-Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, is welcoming a Board-certified Criticalist or Board Eligible to join our specialty team.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care to hospitalized and emergency patients; 4 to 6 patients on average
- Collaborate and work closely with emergency doctors and other specialty service Associates
- Lead and support ICU cases and develop treatment plans
- Participate in case discussion rounds
- Mentorship; mentor and guide emergency doctors, interns and veterinary technicians
Qualifications
- Board-certified (AVCECC, DACVECC or ECVECC) in Critical Care.
- Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Positive and collegial personality, and who enjoys interacting with other specialists, emergency doctors and veterinary technicians
- Mentoring mindset and offer training to those on your team to support the growth of your technicians, assistants, and other staff.
- DVM degree allows for licensure in the province of Ontario.
