Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As a Director, Visa, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of Vancity’s credit card roadmap, business growth and profit targets, and aligning product innovation with organizational goals. You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive revenue and member value, while integrating market insights, technology trends, and user needs into product development. We’re seeking a visionary leader with deep experience in credit cards, financial services, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to shape the future of our Visa offerings.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role and will report directly to the Head of Products. Our head office is based in Vancouver, but we are open to candidates in BC and Ontario. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands when needed.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Manage P&L for Visa portfolio ensuring growth and profitability goals are exceeded
  • Leverage your strong analytical skills to drive account management and adjudication strategies optimizing growth, profitability and member experience
  • Leading credit card roadmap development aligned with organizational goals
  • Guiding cross-functional teams to deliver revenue-generating, growth-balanced solutions
  • Conducting market and technology research to inform product strategy
  • Integrating strategic insight and user focus to shape high-impact products
  • Administering planning and development to drive innovation across products and services
  • Creating research proposals with clear objectives, applications and resource plans
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers and stakeholders to define product specifications
  • Partnering with leadership to design marketing strategies that generate business impact
  • Managing project scope, timing, budgets and risks to ensure quality outcomes
  • Preparing and launching product updates and introductions

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. MBA an asset.
  • 8-10 years of experience in P&L ownership, product strategy, financial services, or payments, with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience with Visa or other payment network partnerships
  • Possessing strong knowledge of credit card products, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrating experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
  • Familiarity with agile product development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation in financial services

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $150,000 to $181,200 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
