Milk River Ridge is situated in the town of Milk River, Alberta.

Milk River has a population of approximately 890 people but draws students from

the rural communities surrounding it. Our student population of 200

from Early Learning to Grade 12 with approximately 23 staff

1.0 FTE Temporary Teacher Mathematics and ScienceGrade 7-12

Assignment includes- Milk River Ridge School

currently invites motivated educators to apply for a temporary, full-time

Mathematics and Science, grade 7-12, teaching position. This position is available starting August

20, 2026, until June 29, 2027, or return of incumbent.

The

position commences

August 20, 2026, and concludes June 29, 2027, or

upon return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first.

Horizon spans a geographic area of approximately 30,970 square kilometers, from Bulyea in the south, Wakaw in the north, Foam Lake in the east, and Viscount in the west. The division is divided into 14 Subdivisions for purposes of representation on the Board of Education.
