About the role
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Assist in with the day-to-day efficient operation for the HR Department
- Data entry for Administration and HR databases
- Record keeping and maintaining employee records and files
- Assisting with recruitment
- Creating and modifying forms and documents
- Assist with the on-boarding of new employees including the preparation of new hire documents
- Assisting in developing and modifying PowerPoint presentations
- Sending out and receiving mail
- Providing customer service
- Other tasks relating to projects
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Persons who are between 15 to 30 years of age are eligible.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- Enrolled in full time studies, Human Resources or Business Administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
SALARY & COMPENSATION:
$17.60 per hour
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
