Responsibilities Provide expert cybersecurity and technology risk advisory services. Assess current and future state security architectures supporting cloud and on-prem environments. Identify vulnerabilities, security gaps, and control weaknesses across applications, infrastructure, and emerging tech including AI. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and reference architectures aligned with industry best practices. Design and govern security controls such as IAM, network security, data protection, and monitoring solutions. Support secure configurations and compliance for cloud services, applications, and DevSecOps pipelines. Facilitate threat modeling activities to proactively identify risks and attack vectors. Strengthen application security and DevSecOps practices, including secure SDLC and pipeline security. Contribute to vulnerability management, offering guidance on remediation and testing. Support AI integration into security workflows for risk assessment and threat discovery. Translate technical risks into impactful business insights with clear, actionable recommendations. Produce executive-ready documentation and reports for diverse stakeholders. Lead implementation planning and promote best security practices across teams. Deliver workshops and knowledge transfer to enhance security awareness. Qualifications Degree or diploma in computer science, information security, engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of recent experience in IT or cybersecurity. Minimum of 3 years in a senior security role in complex, regulated environments. Proven track record assessing security postures and designing target security architectures. Strong experience governing security controls including IAM, network, and data security. Skilled in identifying control gaps and recommending risk-based improvements. Hands-on experience creating security standards and reusable architecture artifacts. Additional Skills & Experience Deep knowledge of cyber security and risk frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA. Experience aligning security architecture with financial services regulations and supervisory expectations. Relevant certifications (CCSP, CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Security) are a plus. Ability to acquire Reliability Security Clearance (5 years in Canada) is required.
