Plant Mechanic (Full Time)

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and smooth operation of several automated plants located throughout Quebec and Ontario. You must be self-reliant, resourceful, and meticulous in order to manage projects related to equipment and processes. You must be able to work with minimal supervision. The candidate will be required to travel to various plant sites approximately 30% of the time. The position also requires periodic on-call availability.

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will plan and perform required maintenance on equipment
• Perform heavy mechanical tasks on compressors, motors, and industrial process piping in an industrial environment with the use of heavy-duty mechanical tools
• You will ensure the proper operation of industrial production equipment and monitor the production of air separation units

What makes you great*

• You hold a vocational diploma in Electromechanics, Mechanics, or an equivalent field to bring strong technical expertise
• You are able to communicate effectively in both French and English to engage with diverse teams and clients
• Apply your experience maintaining industrial equipment such as compressors, pumps, blowers, automated valves, cooling systems, and motors
• Utilize your knowledge of automated control systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, and electrical systems to troubleshoot and optimize operations
• You demonstrate a solid mechanical background to handle complex maintenance tasks confidently
• You are prepared to travel within Quebec and Ontario up to 30 percent of the time, supporting various sites and projects
• You show flexibility by working overtime and being available on call to ensure continuous operation and support
• You bring 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and maintain a valid driver’s license to meet the demands of this dynamic role
