About the role
In collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and community agencies, the RN provides compassionate and dedicated quality care for patients and their families. In accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and HHS’ mission, vision, values and policies, the RN improves the health of our patients and residents through their evidence-based clinical practice and leadership in healthcare delivery.
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Minimum one (1) year experience in an orthopedic setting within the last three (3) years Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, communication, organizational, problem identification and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and shifting demands Venipuncture an asset
