The Opportunity
As the Branding Interior Designer, you will lead the translation of ACX’s brand identity into customer-facing and operational environments. You’ll bring creative vision and technical expertise to ensure our spaces not only reflect our brand but also meet functional, construction, and operational requirements.
We have recently rebranded and are seeking a Branding Interior Designer to bridge our Design team and Facilities team. This role will be central to defining, implementing, and maintaining the branding standards that will shape the future of ACX.
This role will collaborate closely with Design to ensure creative consistency, and with Facilities to ensure feasibility and scalability across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, document, and maintain interior branding standards, prototype layouts, and FF&E guidelines for ACX.

Create scalable design toolkits to ensure brand consistency across new builds, retrofits, and renovations.

Translate brand and marketing concepts into physical environments, including lobbies, lounges, customer reception, signage, wayfinding, and operational workspaces.

Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams to develop design concepts and functional layouts, ensuring compliance with national and provincial regulations, including accessibility and environmental health and safety.

Develop schematic design guidelines and support preparation of design documentation for new builds, retrofits, and renovations.

Review and provide input on architectural drawings for alignment with design and brand standards.

Integrate sustainable design practices into facility standards.

Research, source, and specify finishes, fixtures, lighting, and signage aligned with brand identity and operational needs.

Conduct site visits(once every 1-3 months) to our 30+ locations across Canada to review brand implementation and maintain consistency across facilities. Monitor design trends in retail, hospitality, and automotive spaces to evolve ACX’s customer experience.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Professional certifications (NCIDQ, OAA, ARIDO, or equivalent licenses) strongly preferred.

8+ years of professional experience in architecture/interior design, with proven work on multi-location retail, automotive, or hospitality environments. Experience incorporate or automotive environments is an asset.

Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, sustainability frameworks and construction processes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.3Drenderingexperienceis an asset.

Strong coordination and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Strong ability to balance design vision, cost efficiency, and operational functionality.

Strong visual and verbal communication skills to present concepts clearly to both creative and technical teams. Experience with sustainable design practices (LEED, WELL)considered an advantage.
