Medical Expert Location: Remote (United States / Canada) Engagement Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $130 –$300/hour Commitment: 20+ hours per week About the Opportunity This opportunity is for experienced physicians interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role involves applying clinical expertise to design realistic patient scenarios, evaluate AI-generated responses, and improve the reasoning, accuracy, and safety of next-generation AI systems. This opportunity is intended for physicians whose specialties are not covered by dedicated specialty-specific roles, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, General Surgery, ENT (Otolaryngology), Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Pain Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and other medical specialties. Responsibilities Design clinically realistic prompts and patient scenarios based on your medical specialty. Develop high-quality reference responses demonstrating attending-level clinical reasoning. Evaluate AI-generated medical responses using structured evaluation criteria. Assess diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, risk stratification, and guideline adherence. Provide detailed written feedback to improve the quality, safety, and accuracy of AI-generated outputs. Participate in onboarding and specialty calibration sessions to ensure evaluation consistency. Required Qualifications Attending Physicians: Board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license. Resident Physicians: Final year of residency or recent graduates who are board-eligible. Fellows: Board-certified or board-eligible in their primary specialty with a current, active, unrestricted medical license. Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based medical decision-making skills. Excellent written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
