If you share our values and would like to collaborate with skilled professionals, Armour is presently seeking a Contracts Coordinator.
Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, the Contracts Coordinator will act as a liaison between legal and construction, providing proactive support through the end-to-end contract process for our construction operations. The Contracts Coordinator will be capable of working independently, tracking deadlines and communicating with internal team members and external subcontractors in a busy environment.
As the Contracts Coordinator, your work will include:
- Contract Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all construction contract requests internally, ensuring that the request and supporting documentation are complete.
- Draft contracts using company templates, working closely with in-house legal department to finalize and approve.
- Maintain the contract tracking system, ensuring accurate and complete records of contracts and supporting documentation are received prior to the project starting.
- Build and maintain relationships with external contractors and internal teams, proactively communicating to ensure contract preparation, execution and delivery of required materials.
- Ensure compliance with internal contract standards.
- Support project managers and in-house legal in monitoring for compliance, including tracking deadlines, preparing and sending notices to contractors, contract amendments, and other documentation.
- Support in the creation, amendment and implementation of new procedures related to contracts administration.
- Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support.
- Develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures, recommending improvements to workflow and processes.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, and finalizing documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and support meetings, including preparing agendas and detailed minutes.
- Track and manage important deadlines and manage calendars.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Preparing reports to department leadership.
- Collaborate across departments and staff to support smooth workflows.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain the highest level of integrity when handling sensitive files.
What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and exercise good judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with MS Office suite.
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however anyone with transferrable skills is encouraged to apply.
