About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of HR, the Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for supporting and executing corporate HR initiatives across the Richards Group of Companies. This role is pivotal in driving talent management, employee relations, and compliance programs while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with business leaders to ensure HR strategies are aligned with organizational goals, while championing a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

The successful applicant will:

  • Develop and communicate bilingual HR policies aligned with provincial legislation.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across Canada through training, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support health & safety initiatives and assist with legal matters and terminations.
  • Manage new hire documentation and collaborate with IT for seamless transitions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding processes.
  • Lead weekly meetings with business leaders to assess HR needs.
  • Analyze trends and recommend solutions to improve performance and retention.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and ensure policy compliance.
  • Serve as a culture ambassador, supporting wellness and retention initiatives.
  • Collaborate on employee engagement programs.
  • Conduct audits and assign mandatory training.
  • Translate employee communications into French.
  • Support French-language recruitment.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management.
  • CHRP designation or actively pursuing.
  • 3+ years of HR experience as Human Resources Advisor, ideally in packaging, pharma, or medical technology sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of employment standards and recruitment practices.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and practices across Canadian provinces.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel and work independently.

Knowledge of English is required to communicate effectively with clients and partners located outside of Quebec.
