Summary of Position
The Store Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of their store performed by the sales and technician staff. It is their responsibility to ensure the store operates smoothly and effectively, and work towards exceeding KPI targets provided by the District Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote and motivate store staff to achieve monthly store sales targets and key store metrics
- Handle all escalated employee and customer issues that arise (complaints, grievances, etc.) with a high degree of professionalism – including management if needed
- Encourage and promote staff compliance with company policies and procedures
- Responsible and accountable for managing store cash in tills and safe, performing cash bank deposits, and cash withdrawals to tills as required
- Shipping & Receiving of Packages (Including but not limited to: Fulfilling online orders, RMA, LCD salvage, Store Transfers, PO's to be received and transfer orders to be received)
- Inventory Counts
- Staff Scheduling
- Retail item re-tagging to keep prices tags up to date
- Monthly shipments being sent to the repair center
- Work with Management to Reconcile the following on a periodic basis:
- Open Purchase Orders
- Open Repair Tickets
- Open Transfer orders
- Open Invoices
- Cash Over/Shorts
- Ensuring store cleanliness, upkeep, organization, and consistency with the proper physical locations at all times
- Ensure store is adequately stocked with all essentials such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
- Deal with all H&S issues as they arise; escalate issues to the company H&S Representative
- Work with the District Sales Manager to discuss employee related matters such as:
- Performance reviews
- Salary and wage increases
- Company policy violations (disciplinary action)
- Hiring and firing (onboarding and offboarding)
- Ensure proper onboarding and training for new hires
- Assist in repairs, sales and other tasks (Inventory Counts, Item retagging etc) as required
- Ensure the smooth operation of the location including and not limited to, sales, profits, repair QC, customer satisfaction, repair completion timelines
- Manage and oversee the duties of direct reports.
- Manage Disposal of old Repair Tickets
- Coordinate staff and location events for the purpose of morale and marketing
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1+ Years as a Sales Representative & Repair Technician
- Knowledge of Sales, management experience, Repair experience in mobility and computers is extra
- Proficient in English language speaking

Location
Store Managers each have their own Marnics Store location to work at. 100% of their employment will take place at their own specific store location, with the occasional training that may require travel to Marnics Mobile Head Office.
