Rate of Pay: $41.15 - $58.98 per hour

Join our Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving the South Georgian Bay community. Our ED provides comprehensive triage, trauma, resuscitation, medical, and surgical care for more than 34,000 patients annually. At CGMH, every shift brings something new — from ski hill injuries in January to boating injuries in July — offering endless opportunities to grow your skills and experience the excitement of emergency nursing.
This role allows you to make a meaningful impact on patient care while seeing firsthand how your contributions improve outcomes. You will have the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise while working alongside a highly collaborative & supportive team.

As a Registered Nurse you are eligible for student loan forgiveness as CGMH is considered a rural hospital Join HOOPP a defined benefit contribution pension plan Time away from work matters. This position would earn 6% pay in lieu of vacation Your health and wellness are important. We offer 14% in lieu of benefits (or HOOPP + 10%) At this time this opportunity is scheduled for 12-hour shifts.
As The Successful Applicant, You Will Do The Following
Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care through rapid assessment, treatment, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration while adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Provide supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. Maintain high standards of professional practice, critical thinking, and compassionate patient-centered care.
What You’ll Bring
Required
Registered as an RN with the College of Nurse
One-year recent experience in acute care nursing BLS, ACLS, Physical Assessment course Coronary Care I or willingness to obtain within six (6) months
Preferred
Current emergency nursing experience
Completion of emergency courses or in the process of working towards CTAS, PALS, TNCC Coronary Care II Meditech Expanse

Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is an 84 bed hospital located in Collingwood, Ontario (approximately 90 minutes north of Toronto) that serves more than 74,000 permanent residents and 3.5 Million annual visitors to the communities of Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Clearview and the Blue Mountains. CGMH is an acute care hospital providing emergency care, diagnostic services including lab, imaging and cardio respiratory therapy, as well as two inpatient units (medicine and surgery). In addition, CGMH also provides care in specialty areas including obstetrics, orthopaedics, intensive care and surgery.
