About the role
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue customer rental invoices in a timely manner;
- Provide outstanding customer service, both internally and externally by responding to enquiries;
- Use various means to maintain accurate revenue accruals;
- Responsible for ensuring all billing is up-to-date on a daily basis;
- Maintain good rapport with engineers at rigs;
- Confirm invoice arrangements with customer;
- Analyze month-end accruals;
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies Required (FYI Book):
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written);
- Possess problem solving skills and make informed decisions in an efficient and timely manner;
- Functional/Technical skills (accounting and finance);
- Time management and priority setting;
- Organizational skills;
- Proactive operating style requiring a high-energy level and tolerance to tight deadlines;
- Ability to deal with a fluctuating volume of work.
- General understanding of basic accounting;
Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience) :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- 1 – 3 years previous experience in a Billings role is required;
Technical Requirements ( software or program knowledge needed ):
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access and Outlook, Teams);
- JDE and/or Track-A-Tool experience is an asset.
HSE Requirements (Training and Physical Requirements):
- Office environment working indoors; Sitting, typing, walking, standing.
