The Opportunity
Keyano College is currently seeking an energetic, hardworking student to assist with a variety of general grounds/maintenance duties. The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Manager. This Student position will start on June 1st 2026 end on or before August 31, 2026; working approximately 35 hours per week.
Note: This opportunity is for the current enrolled student in the college. This is not a remote or hybrid work opportunity, you will be required to work on campus.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include assisting the Maintenance team in a number of indoor/outdoor activities including planting flowers, lawn maintenance, painting, and other related grounds maintenance duties not specifically outlined above. Additional duties may include moving furniture and appliances, garbage removal, and event setup
Qualifications
- Must be a Keyano student and legally allowed to work on-campus
- Clean Class 5 driver’s license
- Experience operating powered landscape equipment, i.e. lawnmowers, weed eater, and various power tools.
- Work with ladders, stairs, and lifting heavy equipment as required.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts (a minimum of 3 hours in length), including mornings, afternoons, and evenings between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and possibly weekends.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: - CUPE Student $24.63 per hour
