The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shift Manager is responsible for leading and supervising production teams to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets during their assigned shift. They play a critical role in ensuring compliance with food safety standards, fostering a positive team environment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process. This role requires working a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off).

Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong background in food manufacturing. You are passionate about safety, quality, and team success, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have the ability to motivate and engage employees while identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a food manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety programs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
- Proficiency in production software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off), including holidays and overtime as required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
