We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy equipment used in construction, mining, and other industries. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and forklifts
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed
• Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial equipment maintenance
• Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines
• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
