Position Title: Co-op - Individual Product Development & Marketing
Reports To: Director, Digital Experience
Department: Individual Insurance Product Marketing & Digital Experience
Term: Temporary Full-Time, Four (4) Month Contract
Work Term: September 2, 2025 – December 19, 2025
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

Are you a student looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, user experience, and emerging AI technologies? This co-op position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while learning from a collaborative and innovative team. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks that support both strategic and operational digital and marketing initiatives, giving you exposure to real-world applications of UX research, AI in marketing, and website development.

What you will be doing:
- Conduct User Experience (UX) and Market Research - Perform user research and analyze digital marketing trends to inform strategy and improve user engagement.
- Leverage AI for Marketing Efficiency - Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline and automate marketing processes.
- Monitor the CE credit inbox, process requests, and issue CE credits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support ongoing updates and improvements to advisor and client-facing websites, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Provide Marketing Administrative Support - Assist with various marketing administrative tasks.
What you will bring:
Digital & UX Research
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends and tools
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
AI & Marketing Automation
- Curiosity about AI applications in marketing
- Willingness to explore and learn new tools or platforms
- Problem-solving mindset to identify automation opportunities
Web Experience & Maintenance
- Basic knowledge of website content management systems
- Understanding of web usability and accessibility
- Ability to perform routine updates and quality checks
Administrative & Operational Support
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Accuracy in handling data and reporting on analysis
- Clear written communication for inbox management and documentation
- Professional & Interpersonal Skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
