About the role

Reporting to the District Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for creating a zero-harm environment, maintaining efficient day-to-day operations, and for the effective supervision of the field employees. The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the execution of all aspects of assigned projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as a first point of contact on all assigned projects at the branch
  • Take ownership and constantly look for ways to improve Safety Performance
  • Develop and perform job task assessments (JTO’s), Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA’s) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP’s) to drive Safety Performance
  • Report all incidents, safety infractions, non-compliance issues and participate in the investigation and development of corrective actions
  • Ensure on-site operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures within permit conditions and to customer specifications
  • Supervise daily activities to ensure project targets are met
  • Estimate project costs for tender purposes
  • Responsible for monthly revenue forecasts
  • Develop and execute work plans aimed at keeping projects on schedule and on budget
  • Support continual improvement initiatives such as the invoicing process through the company operational management system (OMS)
  • Assist with project planning and scheduling under guidance of manager
  • Other operational tasks as assigned
  • Some overnight travel required

Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Diploma in a Technical field is desired
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, word, excel, etc) or Google Workspace
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proven ability to multi-task & ability to organize and prioritize tasks
