Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Full‑Time
The Opportunity Are you an Electrical Project Manager looking to contribute to high‑profile base building projects? We’re seeking an experienced engineering professional to join the Base Build Team, focusing on electrical design and delivery for new construction and major renovations. In this role, you’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to design, review, and oversee electrical engineering for base building and core infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Lead electrical engineering design for base building projects and core infrastructure
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment selections, and review drawings for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain project schedules and budgets, responding to technical and financial inquiries as required
- Act as Contract Administrator, review shop drawings, and manage site instructions and change notices
- Coordinate design efforts across disciplines and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless project delivery
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project management for base building or core infrastructure projects
- P.Eng. designation or ability to qualify within one year. Senior C.E.T. candidates with comparable experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards (Electrical, CSA, NFPA, IES, ULC)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities
- Skilled in managing complex projects across disciplines and stakeholders
- LEED accreditation or experience in sustainable design is an asset
