About the role
As a business advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients who have specialized advisory needs. You provide customer service and help sell specialized products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. You help develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You review special requests for specialized products and services. You drive results by developing integrated offers for Desjardins products and services and helping members and clients reach their financial goals. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures. You help analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and propose integrated service offers. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention
- Assist members and clients who have specialized needs and advise them on specialized products and services to ensure their satisfaction. Discuss organizational realities with external professionals
- Help clients reach their financial goals, develop solutions tailored to their needs, and negotiate terms
- Help achieve business development objectives by prospecting for, identifying and developing new business opportunities to balance member/client satisfaction, profitability and risk
- Stay on top of the latest standards, products and services in your field.

What you bring to the table
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
