Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I
Description:
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist I, you will produce and record magnetic resonance images for interpretation by a Radiologist or Cardiologist for the purpose of diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. You will produce high quality diagnostic MRI images as ordered by a Physician, prepare and position patients for examination, review patient history, explain procedures, respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients throughout the scanning procedure, and maintain MRI equipment.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program required or completion of certificate from an accredited MRI Technologist program plus a diploma from an accredited Program in Medical Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy.
- Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
- IV/CVAD Authorization

- As Required.
