About the role
Duties: Teach RMOT 357 (Research Methods) in the Spring 2027 semester on Wednesdays, 11:30 to 14:30. Teaching duties include preparing and delivering of lectures, overseeing student research projects, assessing and evaluating student work, and holding office hours to support students. Course preparation includes developing field activity plans for all off campus field work associated with the course.

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
Required Qualifications: PhD degree (or ABD) in an ecology, biology, or natural resources from an appropriately accredited institution and experience designing and conducting field-based research.
Preferred Qualifications: Priority will be given to those with experience teaching ecology or natural resource related courses at a post-secondary level.
