About the role
The Dental Support, Suplies & Equipment Associate is a key member of the Strategic Sourcing team, responsible for ensuring clinics have timely access to high-quality dental equipment and supplies. This role supports operational efficiency and patient care by managing sourcing processes and coordinating with internal teams and vendors. The position requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative apprach in a fast-paced environment.
Responsabilites and Duties:
Operational Support
- Partner with Operations to provide frontline support to dental offices accross a region for equipment procurement and formulary-related inquiries.
- Assist clinic teams with navigating, optimizing and maximizing the use of the preferred dental supplies formulary.
- Respond to office requests for product samples and assist with supplier coordination.
Sourcing & Order Management
- Coordinate, process, and track equipment orders with multiple vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Prepare weekly purchase order reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Formulary Uitlization& Efficiency
- Monitor clinics with low formulary utilization and collaborate with teams to increase adoption and efficiency,
Training & Onboarding
- Deliver procurement platform training to newly acquired and existing clinics.
- Support the on boarding team with procurement platform setup for new clinics.
Strategic Initiatives
- Participate in broader Strategic Sourcing initiatives as part of a collaborative, fact-moving team.
Education, Credentiels, Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/French) is mandatory for roles supporting Quebec.
- Previous sourcing or procurement experience is preferred.
- Experience with dental supplies or dental equipment is preferred.
Required Skills & Abilites
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, with direct experience in dental equipment preferred (not required).
- Strong understanding of dental supplies, equipment, and clinical workflows (preferred).
- Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilites.
- Excellent relationship-building skilss and the ability to work confidently with skateholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills both English and French.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to manage large volumes of work under tight deadlines while maintaining a positive, hands-on approach.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint at an Intermediate to advanced level.
