As our company navigates ongoing evolution and growing contractual and regulatory demands, we are seeking a lead advisor to structure and drive initiatives related to data governance, privacy, information security, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Reporting to the Finance and Corporate Affairs Vice-Presidency, you will play a key role in mobilizing and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of governance, compliance, and risk management standards. Acting as a strategic point of contact, you will help foster collaboration across departments, eliminate operational roadblocks, and bring strategic projects to fruition.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy a cohesive governance framework that unites data, AI, and corporate policies.
  • Drive high-impact projects related to privacy, ISO 27001 compliance, risk management, and AI.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across the IM group.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Coordinate external audits and guide teams through the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Act as a key resource for management, regulators, and board members on matters related to governance, risk, data, privacy, and compliance.
  • Help reduce the operational load on stakeholders through diligent monitoring and streamlined project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, information technology, or any field related to governance or risk management.
  • Possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international context.
  • Demonstrate strong familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001), internal control audit frameworks (e.g., SOC 2), privacy legislation (e.g., Bill 25 and GDPR), and emerging challenges in data and AI governance.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, rigor, political acumen, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excel in communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Possess advanced knowledge and skills in information technology
