Context of the project: Routine testing of liquid dosage pharma products
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, bulk, in-process, finished products, and stability samples according to GMP procedures and approved methods. Conduct laboratory analysis using HPLC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, pH meters, and general wet chemistry techniques to verify product quality and compliance. Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and solutions using accurate pipetting, weighing, dilution, and volumetric techniques. Execute testing of pharmaceutical products and materials following USP, EP, internal specifications, and validated analytical methods. Review and document test results in laboratory systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with GMP requirements. Perform routine equipment calibration, verification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and testing equipment. Investigate and report out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), deviations, and atypical results, supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Support stability studies, validation activities, special projects, and non-routine testing as required by Quality Control and Analytical Services. Maintain laboratory compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety regulations, and audit requirements, ensuring proper documentation practices. Collaborate with QC, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and other cross-functional teams to support product release, quality investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate requirements Must have: 1–2 years of pharmaceutical GMP laboratory experience - Experience working in a QC, analytical, or stability laboratory within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry Hands-on HPLC experience - Ability to prepare samples, run HPLC analyses, review chromatograms, and document results according to GMP requirements. Experience with routine analytical testing - Proficient in techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, pH testing, titrations, and general wet chemistry methods. Strong laboratory skills - Experienced with pipetting, sample preparation, solution/reagent preparation, dilutions, weighing, and use of analytical balances and laboratory glassware. GMP documentation and compliance knowledge - Ability to follow SOPs, maintain accurate laboratory records, identify/report OOS or atypical results, and work within GMP and data integrity requirements. Nice to have: Tools / software / methodology / certification: Empower HPLC, LIMS, MS Office Soft skills: Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work autonomously; proactive problem-solving and decision-making Seniority level: 1-2 years of experience
