Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC systems and mechanical maintenance. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with schematics, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and safety compliance.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately execute projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance on boilers, appliances, and mechanical components to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or system upgrades.
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson HVAC certification with relevant licensing.
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and construction environments preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with mechanic experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.

Pay: $33.00-$47.25 per hour
