As a Data Analyst Intern , you will apply various disciplines in finance, statistics, economics, and combine these with operations management and technical knowledge to enable the business to improve profitability, cash flow, and revenue generation. You will also be supporting the pricing team in finding opportunities to optimize costs for the customers, as well as finding ways to do our work more effectively and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Support the pricing functions in developing customer estimates, invoices, and pricing for aircraft engine maintenance performed
- Work with other functional groups (supply chain, operations, engineering, etc.) to research new service offerings to find optimal pricing for customers
- Data entry and/or validation from various sources
- Support the team in performing analysis to create business cases, present new solutions to customers.
- Develop dashboards, reports or data analysis through Power BI or Microsoft Excel
- Create reports and analysis to study the quality of our earnings and billing processes
- Create presentations or other materials to support analysis performed
What Skills You Will Use
- Between 2nd and 4th year student
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong data analysis skills, with knowledge of statistical math and methods
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of university or college experience in the field of statistics/data science, engineering/technology, or finance/commerce
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Visual Basic/Visual Basic for Applications
- Attention to detail

These two divisions represent the core strengths of StandardAero, our exhaustive engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services capabilities and our significant portfolio of component repair services for business aviation, commercial aviation, military, fixed wing, helicopter and industrial power customers.
