Job Summary and Requirements
This posting will be used to fill 1 term full-time position working 75 bi-weekly ending January 4th, 2027. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

The Finance and Program Administration Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of financial and program administration duties for Income Support Services and programs, including Social Assistance, Yukon Seniors Income Supplement, and the Pioneer Utility Grant.
Your role
Income Support Services (ISS) is looking for a motivated, passionate individual to work as a finance and administrative clerk providing services in a fast paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate needs to be collaborative, have sound conflict management skills and have knowledge of financial and administrative practices. Knowledge of the Income Support programs, including Social Assistance, Yukon Seniors Income Supplement, and Pioneer Utility Grant is an asset.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment providing support to vulnerable population

Experience processing financial requests and transactions that are carried out in accordance with legislation, policy, procedures and/or directives.

Experience working with a variety of computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience working in legislative programs will be considered as an asset
-
Completion of post-secondary courses in Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field is an asset
Candidates who have education, training and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
