Job Description:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist to manage the Full lifecycle management of physical IT assets to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Receive, tag, track, deploy, and dispose of IT hardware.
• Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow, Excel, and internal systems.
• Organize and maintain the IT stockroom for easy access and reporting.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving between offices and vendors.
• Prepare devices for deployment/reallocation (e.g., imaging, bundling).
• Ensure secure, environmentally responsible disposal of outdated/damaged hardware.
• Conduct regular physical audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical and digital records.
• Communicate with internal teams (IT support, procurement, facilities) and external vendors on asset workflows.
Deliverables:
• Asset inventory with 90%+ accuracy.
• Timely, documented receipt/tagging/deployment.
• Organized, compliant stockroom.
• Completed/reconciled audits.
• Documented, compliant disposals.
• Consistent documentation of all asset activities.
Qualifications:
Mandatory:
• Available for **on-site work** at FNHA offices in Vancouver.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (for inter-office transport if needed).
• Familiarity with **ServiceNow** (for tracking/compliance) and **Microsoft Excel** (for data management/reconciliation).
Desirable Competencies:
• Knowledge of **ITIL asset management practices**.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Excellent communication for cross-team collaboration.
