About the role

Video Editor/ Videographer Intern (Part-Time, ~20 hrs/week)

About Fellow

We’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Video Editor / Videographer Intern to turn raw footage into thumb-stopping videos that grow our brand. At Fellow, our mission is to transform how teams collaborate and make meetings productive for everyone. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Video Editor Intern (part-time, ~20 hrs/week) who will play a pivotal role in bringing our AI Meeting Assistant to life through compelling video. In this role, you’ll make a real impact by crafting short- and long-form content across YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and our website; shaping our visual storytelling and content strategy; and delivering a world-class viewer experience from thumbnail to final export.

If you’re a student or early-career creator who thrives in a fast-paced startup, cares deeply about pacing, sound, and story, and is excited to help redefine meeting experiences worldwide, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Film and edit short- and long-form video for YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, ads, and our website.
  • Cut interviews/webinars into tight narratives; add b-roll, lower thirds, captions, calls-to-action, and light motion graphics.
  • Own the full post pipeline: ingest, selects, assembly, audio cleanup, color balance, rough/fine cuts, exports, and versioning.
  • Create scroll-stopping thumbnails and optimized aspect-ratio variants
  • Package reusable assets (intros/outros, transitions, SRTs, templates) and maintain tidy project files.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to hit brand voice, performance goals, and deadlines.
  • Assist with podcast production and promotion

You’ll be successful if you have

  • A portfolio/reel showcasing crisp editing, pacing, and story flow (please include links).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut, Opus clips or Canva). Basic After Effects (or equivalent) for titles and light motion
  • Working knowledge of audio mixing (noise reduction, EQ, leveling) and color fundamentals.
  • Fluency with codecs, frame rates, proxies, and export specs for each platform.
  • Strong attention to detail (subtitles synced, branding consistent, filenames organized).
  • Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and manage multiple timelines independently.
  • Bonus points: DaVinci Resolve, Audition, motion graphics chops, interviewing chops, basic design/thumbnailing.
  • Knowledge or interest in AI tools

What you’ll learn here

  • How to translate brand strategy and analytics into edits that perform.
  • A practical workflow for scaling content across channels and formats.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Content, and Product.

Hours & logistics

  • ~20 hours per week; schedule is flexible within business hours.
  • Internship is ongoing with potential to extend or based on performance and needs.
  • Competitive hourly salary
